What to expect

Your first session, without the guesswork

Thinking about trying colonic irrigation for the first time? You're not alone — and you don't have to figure it out alone either. A first session here is private, unhurried and shaped around you by a qualified health professional.

A treatment room that's yours alone

Your own private room with its own ensuite. The closed system is fully sealed, so there's no odour or splashback, and you stay covered with a modesty sheet throughout — you're never exposed.

Tuned to your body, not a fixed setting

Water temperature, pressure and flow are adjusted continuously to suit how you're responding — plus gentle abdominal massage where it helps. Those small adjustments are what make a session both comfortable and effective.

Genuinely qualified practitioners

Naturopaths, midwives and allied health professionals — qualified in far more than colonics alone, so what you're told about your gut actually holds up. All four take new clients.

Screened before anything begins

A full health history and contraindication check comes first. If colonic hydrotherapy isn't right for you, we'll tell you so rather than treat you anyway.

Explained as we go

Step by step, in plain language, with time to ask anything at all. Nothing happens without you knowing what it is and why.

You leave with a plan

Personalised hydration and gut-health guidance for the days afterwards. No packages pushed on you, no upsells — just honest, ethical care.

The result is a session that's genuinely personalised — you feel supported rather than rushed, and you leave informed. It's the opposite of an open, self-serve setup, where you're handed the equipment and left to manage it at whatever pressure gravity happens to give you. See how the two compare in closed versus open colonics.

On the day

What your first visit includes

A private, one-on-one pre-screening with your practitioner reviews your health history, current symptoms and any potential contraindications. You'll get a clear explanation of the procedure and time to ask questions, and your practitioner tailors the session to your comfort and health needs. If you're a suitable candidate, treatment goes ahead during the same visit.

If we find a red flag, we won't proceed

You'll get honest guidance, referrals where needed, and support on your next steps instead. Your wellbeing comes first — see the safety and suitability questions for what we screen for.

Infusions come later, not first

Infusions — coffee, probiotics or herbal blends — aren't included in your first session. We begin with a standard colonic to observe how your body responds before introducing any additions.

Before you arrive

What to bring

Your medications and supplements

A quick list is fine — it helps your practitioner spot interactions and tailor the session.

Relevant medical history or test results

Recent breath tests, scans or bloods, if you have them. Not essential, but useful.

GP or surgeon clearance, if it applies

Required if you've recently had surgery, or are being treated for an acute gastrointestinal condition.

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing

You'll change into a gown for the treatment itself, so wear whatever you'll be happiest in afterwards.

Once your booking is confirmed we'll email you the full preparation guide — what to eat and avoid beforehand, how much to hydrate and when to stop eating. You can read it any time on how to prepare for your colonic.

How it works

From booking to aftercare

  1. Step 01

    Book online or call

No referral needed — book instantly online 24/7, or call our reception team directly.

  2. Step 02

We email you before your visit

The moment your booking is confirmed we email you how to prepare for your colonic — what to eat and avoid, how much to hydrate, when to stop eating, and what to bring.

  3. Step 03

    Pre-session health screening

A confidential review of your health history and any contraindications, either by phone before your visit or in person on arrival — see what your first visit includes.

  4. Step 04

    Your closed-system session

In a private treatment room with its own ensuite, your practitioner adjusts pressure, flow and temperature to suit your body as the session goes — the difference between a closed system and a fixed setting.

  5. Step 05

    Leave with a plan

Personalised post-care and hydration guidance, so you know exactly what to expect and how to support your results afterwards.

What we help with

Common reasons people book a first session

From constipation to hormone imbalance, people come to us wanting to feel lighter and clearer. Everyone's reason is different — here's where most people start.

Clients also come to us to detox in preparation for preconception and fertility, to support microbiome balance, or to recover after chemotherapy — the last of which needs careful assessment, as not everyone is a candidate. See the full list of conditions we help with, or ask us a question if yours isn't listed.

Ready to book your first session?

Initial and regular sessions are $150, with a $30 optional infusion add-on — see the full fees for details.
