What you're paying for
A practitioner-formulated capsule built on cascara and rhubarb, with ginger and German chamomile alongside them. Both cascara and rhubarb are stimulant laxatives. They prompt the bowel wall to contract, which is what makes them work and what makes them a short measure rather than a standing one. Thirty VegeCaps, AUST L 513986, and the label directions are two capsules twice daily as a laxative or one daily for regularity.

- Each capsule: cascara extract 100mg (from 400mg dry stem bark), ginger 100mg (from 500mg dry rhizome), German chamomile 83mg (from 500mg dry flower), rhubarb 25mg (from 250mg dry root)
