Colonic Consultation Fees
Clear, transparent Colonic pricing with no hidden costs
We believe in transparent pricing and high-quality care — no hidden fees, no surprises.
All colonic sessions are delivered by qualified practitioners with additional training in naturopathy, nutrition, or allied health.
Below you’ll find a full breakdown of our standard session fees and optional add-ons, including colonic infusion upgrades.
Initial Colonic Consultation
Initial Consultation – $150
Your first visit includes a pre-screening, review of your health history, a clear explanation of the procedure, and your initial colonic session — provided no contraindications are identified.
Regular Colonic Consultation
Regular Consultation – $150
For returning clients who’ve had a session in the last 3 months. Includes personalised treatment and ongoing care advice.
Colonic Infusion Add-On
Colonic Infusion Add-On – $30
Infusions such as organic coffee, turmeric, probiotics, or alkalising greens can be added to your standard colonic session for a small additional fee.
These blends are freshly prepared on the day and introduced during the final part of your treatment.
Infusions must be pre-booked, as preparation is tailored and time-sensitive.
We don’t offer infusions at your first visit so we can first assess how your body responds to a standard colonic. This helps rule out any concerns and ensures infusions are safely introduced in future sessions for maximum benefit.
Colonic Re-assessment
Re-assessment Consultation – $150
For returning clients who haven’t attended in the last 6 months, we require a brief health update to ensure colonic hydrotherapy is still appropriate for you. Newly diagnosed conditions, recent surgeries, injuries, or medical changes must be reviewed to rule out any contraindications. This appointment includes a personalised treatment session and updated care recommendations. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete a new medical form prior to your session. The fee remains the same as a regular session.

COLONIC Cancellation Policy
We understand that life doesn’t always go to plan — but missed or late cancellations can affect others who are waiting for care.
Each colonic appointment is booked for a full hour, which is a significant time commitment. When cancelled on the same day, it’s often too late to offer that spot to someone else. This results in lost time for your practitioner and missed care opportunities for others.
To help prevent this, we send SMS reminders the day before your booking (usually around midday). If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us any time the day before your appointment by calling (03) 9388 0080.
Same-day cancellations or missed appointments will incur a fee equal to the full cost of the scheduled service — including any infusions that were booked and prepared for your session.
By booking an appointment, you agree to this policy. Your consideration helps us keep appointments available for others in need — and we truly appreciate your understanding.
Does private health insurance cover colonic irrigation?
No. Colonic irrigation is not covered by private health insurance, even when performed by a registered naturopath or other healthcare provider. That’s because the session is classified as colonic hydrotherapy, not a naturopathy consultation.
Should you have been able to claim at another centre, be aware this was likely processed incorrectly — and may constitute insurance fraud. Misrepresenting a claim can have long-term consequences, including potential refusal of future cover across all insurance types (health, life, home, car). Always ensure your claims are accurate and truthful.
NDIS & Colonic irrigation
Does NDIS Cover Colonics?
Colonic hydrotherapy is not routinely covered under the NDIS. However, in some circumstances, it may be considered if:
You are self-managed or plan-managed (not NDIA-managed), and
The treatment is clearly related to a diagnosed medical need — such as chronic constipation unresponsive to laxatives or bowel preparation for medical procedures like a colonoscopy, and
You have written clinical justification from a relevant health professional, and
Your plan includes suitable funding categories (e.g. health and well-being supports).
It’s essential that you gain pre-approval from your fund manager or support coordinator before booking, as we are unable to liaise with the NDIS directly.
Coverage is not guaranteed and is strictly a matter between you and the group responsible for managing your health-related supports.
If approved, we can provide a paid invoice after your session so you can seek reimbursement directly from your care package provider or fund manager.
COLONIC irrigation & Home Care Packages
Does the Aged Care System cover colonics?
Colonic hydrotherapy is not typically included in government-funded Aged Care Packages, but in certain cases, it may be considered if:
-
You are on a self-managed or plan-managed package (not directly managed by My Aged Care), and
-
The treatment is clinically justified — for example, chronic constipation not responding to laxatives, or bowel preparation before a medical procedure, and
-
Your care plan allows for health and wellbeing services that support digestive health and quality of life.
It’s important to note that you must seek prior approval from your package provider or case manager before booking. We cannot liaise with Aged Care providers or guarantee that your treatment will be reimbursed.
All matters of funding must be arranged directly between you and your provider. If approved, we can provide a paid invoice after your session so you can seek reimbursement directly from your care package provider or fund manager.
